2. How do I join DailyGrain?

To receive DailyGrain you need to become a DailyGrain Member. You can join DailyGrain by applying online, by downloading an application form, or by calling DailyGrain on 08 9335 4773.

 

3. How much does it cost?

This depends on the type of business you are involved in. If you are a Grain Grower and have a current Grower Number, the cost for the 2008/09 season is $500 plus GST. We have memberships for Grain Growers, Consultants to Grain Growers, Grain Buyers and Corporate Members.

 

4. How do I contract my grain with a buyer?

You contract your grain the same way you always have, by contacting the buyer direct. DailyGrain does not contract on behalf of growers or buyers. View buyers

 

5. How do I find out more about the buyers?

6. Why does DailyGrain take quality payments into account?

Because if you only look at the quoted price then you might actually get less than if you sell to a buyer with a lower "quoted price" but full quality payments.  It will depend on the actual quality of your crop but as an indication we assess each price based on an average APW quality for WA so you can make a comparison that includes the quality payments.  It is so you compare all the prices "apples with apples".

 

7. Who is NACMA WA?

NACMA, through its Committee system, develop and subsequently publish Trade Rules for grain contracts.  These rules reflect trade practice and facilitate trade between members and overcome trade disputes by setting the ground rules before trading is initiated.
