MarketPlace Updates Wins and Tips

21/12/2023
Weekly Update

This week has been a busy one in the world of MarketPlace - get the latest update in this quick 2-minute read.

LINKING TO LOADNET:
This week we have carried out regularly scheduled improvements on security on the DailyGrain platform to ensure that your data is secure. The only change that is visible to our grower members is during the ‘Link LoadNet’ and ‘Link PAN’ step. If you are linking your CBH personal access number or LoadNet account to your DailyGrain account, you will be emailed a ‘verification code’ to the email address you have supplied us, and this verification code will need to be entered to complete the linking of the accounts. More information is included further down in the newsletter.

TARGET PRICING HIT:
One of our growers shared their win with us this week, when they noticed high bids in the Albany Zone for utility grades. Whilst they were selling in the Esperance zone, they reviewed currency and market movements and decided to raise the price of their grain on offer, and had it snapped up the next day… the result was one happy camper!

IS KEEPING OLD SEASON GRAIN COSTING YOU?
If you have 2022-23 grain in the CBH storage and handling system you could be paying a minimum of $6.90 per tonne with fees accumulating for each month. Give us a call if you want to discuss where pricing for old season grain is sitting and do your best to minimise your storage exposure.

WHAT IF I FORGET I HAVE MY GRAIN ON MARKETPLACE?
The integration with LoadNet means that if loads that you have offered on MarketPlace are nominated to any other acquirer or grower account, your offer will be pulled automatically. Save yourself the hassle of trying to undo contracts or trades and rely on this functionality.
